# How do I create a file

**To create a new file in Pterocos:**

1. **Inside the code editor [https://pterocos.eu.org/?page\_id=15](https://pterocos.eu.org/?page_id=15) after choosing the folder you want**
2. **you'll find yourself at a area asks you to create a file**
3. **Create \[+ New File] there please select file name and the lang you want. (php or anything)**
4. **Create file and done. open it and start coding**
